Menurut para ahli, mengonsumsi kopi organik atau kopi arabika dari jawa, merupakan cara untuk mendapat manfaat positif dari kopi. Karena setiap 8 ons kopi Arabika mengandung kadar protein yang lebih tinggi dibanding kopi biasa, serta memiliki kadar kafein yang lebih rendah. Kopi organik juga mengandung zat antioksidan 40 persen lebih tinggi dibanding kopi jenis lain. Lantas dalam sehari berapa cangkir kopi yang boleh kita minum? Satu cangkir kopi rata-rata mengandung 100-150 miligram kafein, sementara satu demitasse (cangkir mini untuk espresso) singel, rata-rata mengandung 80-120 miligram kafein. Bila satu demitasse diasumsikan 100 miligram kafein, berarti kita boleh minum tiga cangkir espresso sehari dengan aman tanpa terpengaruh efek negatif dari kafein. Dengan asumsi tidak terlalu banyak minum minuman berkarbonasi, makan cokelat, atau minum obat sakit kepala pada hari yang sama. Bila kopi tersebut bermanfaat bagi tubuh, maka boleh-boleh saja kita konsumsi. Sebaliknya jika membuat sakit, artinya Anda salah menikmatinya. Misalnya, minum kopi dalam jumlah banyak, agar tetap terjaga saat malam hari untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan yang menumpuk. Sebaiknya minumlah kopi lebih sering dalam dosis kecil. Jika ingin mencegah kantuk, minumlah seperempat cangkir setiap jam. Cara ini lebih efektif daripada langsung meminum kopi secangkir besar. Setelah meminum kopi, tidurlah 10-20 menit, karena kopi juga membutuhkan waktu untuk menghasilkan khasiatnya. Disamping itu, tidur merupakan salah satu cara agar badan tetap bugar. Makanlah terlebih dulu sebelum minum kopi-dalam keadaan perut kosong, kopi justru akan membuat perut menjadi kembung. Sebaiknya jangan terlalu sering lembur, karena ini tidak baik untuk kesehatan.
